Day 1: Arrive, waterfalls & Black Forest gateau
Check-in is from 3 pm – thanks to self check-in with a key box you arrive whenever it suits you. After unpacking, take a first stroll through the town centre: from the market square it is only about a 15-minute walk to the Triberg Waterfalls, and with your KONUS guest card entry is free.
No day in the Black Forest is complete without a slice of Black Forest gateau – you'll find every variation in the cafés around the market square. Afterwards, cook a relaxed dinner in the fully equipped kitchen or end the day on the balcony.
Day 2: Black Forest mornings
Start the day with breakfast on the balcony – in good weather with a view over the rooftops of Triberg. Then you have a choice: the Black Forest Museum is perfect on a rainy day, while sunshine calls for a hike around the waterfalls.
If you want to venture further, take the bus or train – free with the KONUS card. A classic is the trip to the Vogtsbauernhof open-air museum in Gutach, around 20 minutes by car. In the evening another highlight awaits: the illuminated waterfalls on summer evenings or a cosy dinner in town.
